Chaps (Southern) Ltd was established in 1997 by Nick McLeod, an experienced plumber with a tool bag and an escort car. Today, Chaps has over 5,000 customers and a team of reliable and expert engineers to deliver a fantastic service to customers across Henley-on-Thames, Marlow, Beaconsfield and surrounding areas.
Here at Chaps, we install a range of oil, natural gas and liquified petroleum gas (LPG) boilers. Our team of qualified engineers and supervisors are dedicated to ensuring installations run smoothly and efficiently, that customers are kept updated and that their properties are left clean and tidy. We install internal and external boilers, swimming pool boilers and semi-commercial-sized boilers.
It is important to have your boiler serviced annually to ensure it is running safely and efficiently, to keep your energy bills down and to prolong the life of your boiler. A boiler is a very important element to your home so it is vital that it is looked after. At Chaps we service, diagnose faults and repair a wide range of oil, natural gas and liquified petroleum gas (LPG) boilers.

Chaps were absolutely brilliant when I had a bad pipe leak at home. They were there very quickly, were very friendly, professional and reassuring and fixed the issue. They were considerate when working in the house and tidied up any mess they made before they left. Chaps have advised me on other projects previously and I have always found them to be trustworthy, knowledgeable and great to work with. They are always my first call in an emergency.

DO NOT USE....... Called craig at chaps at the beginning of june he came out and diagnosed the fault on my combi boiler. He Ordered the part needed but sald if the part is replaced it may still not work and we would need a new boiler. This is where the good ends. Excuse after excuse the part arrived but wasnt the right one so he couldnt fit it yet still charged me for his time. He re ordered the part which arrived with him a few weeks later but he failed to turn up on 2 different occasions, and now 6 weeks later he has dropped the part off with me and not even attempted to fit it. I have worked with Chaps a number of times and each time the communication has been excellent. I have always been kept up to date and informed without needed to chase for updates which is refreshing! Fairly priced too and each member of the team has been polite and friendly to deal with through from when the booking has been made to the engineer who visits!

Totally different experience from the one other review. Gas boiler leak discovered 8 am. Chaps engineer here by 9 am. Boiler stripped and problem demonstrated to me. Needed boiler replacement. Quote same day. Delivery and installation 2 days later. All completed with minimum disruption; all debris cleared and disposed of.
