SS Testing provides a crucial fire alarm design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance service for both commercial and domestic clients. A compliant fire alarm system is essential, and SS Testing has in-house specialists who work to BS5839, as well as the company's BAFE SP203-1 accreditation.
We offer essential emergency lighting design, installation, testing, and maintenance to ensure that your building is safe and secure in the event of sudden power supply failures. At SS Testing, all engineers are City & Guilds qualified as a minimum; it is essential that a trained and reliable team provide a fully functioning system.
SS Testing helps you ensure your building has the right fire extinguisher equipment to comply with current regulations and keep everyone safe. Current fire regulations state that all fire safety equipment must be 'maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair' (Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005).
SS Testing has a team of in-house electricians who are qualified to deliver compliant fixed wire testing. The fixed wire test includes both a visual inspection and practical test. It is essential that this is carried out by qualified engineers. This includes the testing of hard wiring and items such as distribution boards, main panels, socket outlets, and lighting.
