McNulty and Sons is an independent family run company based in Darlington, which was established in 2007. Since then we have gone on to build a valuable reputation for the quality of service we provide. All our staff are fully trained and have many years experience through working for other companies since the 1990s, this experience is vital and ensures the job will be done properly.
McNulty and Sons provide a comprehensive range of roofing and general building services. We cover general maintenance and repairs, however small the job. We also offer a dry ridge system with a new roof, this enables us to fit your ridge tiles without using mortar and cement which reduces the maintenance cost of your new roof in the long term, as you don't need to re-point them in the future.
The cost of a new roof can be one of the biggest outlays you pay for in the maintenance of your property, and certainly the most important. We have such confidence in the quality of the materials we use and in the quality of our workmanship that all new roof installations by us come with a 25 year guarantee.

They have done an excellent job and the service they give both before the job (writing to neighbours) and after the job (window cleaner to clean the windows) is faultless.

Despite the original quote being more expensive than we’d expected we decided to go ahead and arranged for the work to be done on their suggested schedule one month later. The date was confirmed by them. On the day of the job no one turned up and our messages to find out where they were were ignored. We have not heard from them since. Would not recommend this business.
