Services
All of our door frames are constructed using mortise and tenon joints, incorporating modern efficient draught seals. All frames are made to order from simple goal post style frames to complex combination style frames. We offer a factory pre hanging service for all of our oak frames which are accompanied with one of our doors.
Using the latest hi-tech cnc machinery we are able to offer the option of having your door supplied already hung in the frame. All of the five lever locks that we supply are manufactured to British Standard BS3621 as stipulated by most insurance companies. The hinges that we use are three-way adjustable, giving you the added benefit of being able to make fine adjustments after fitting, if required.
The plank doors can be supplied with three or four ledges, straight or rustic back rails, and with various moulding detail to the boards. Glazed Designs - Any of the plank style doors can have a window incorporated, as can the panel style doors. We do not manufacture certified fire doors, however we are able to manufacture doors to the specification of your architect etc.
The addition of an Olde Worlde green oak porch kit will greatly enhance the entrance to your home, not only as an attractive feature and focal point, but also the added practicality of protection from the elements. We have a standard design porch kit which can be customised to suit your particular taste and requirements.
The ironmongery is supplied in a dull black antique finish. Cast from malleable iron, a protective undercoat (phosphate) treatment is applied prior to the final coating of black paint. Periodic wiping with a lightly oiled cloth will further help to preserve the look of the product. Please note that minimum orders for the ironmongery apply when not being ordered with our oak products.
