I ordered a Cambridge table and chairs 5th Sept 2021 paid over £700. Furniture should of been delivered on 18th November only the table arrived. I contacted Rattan Direct to be told the chairs would be delivered on the 20th. They didn't arrive. I am now being told they are out of stock until the end of December. How can they be with the courier and then be out of stock? On their website they are showing the Cambridge in stock and delivery within 2 days. Good luck with that I've been waiting since the 5th September. I have requested that the table be collected and that I have a full refund. Upto

After six months wait, I still don't have my goods. Ordered garden furniture March 2021, paid in full, delivery date has changed multiple times and is now indicated as November. Why?
Brexit, Covid, Suez canal.
Can you please be honest, and provide me with an ACTUAL delivery date. If you cannot fulfil the order, please do the right thing and say so, and provide an immediate refund.
Update (Sep 2021)… after writing this review, I received a call from Rattan Direct to say the furniture was now available, except the coffee table, which is not due until November (hence the additional delay), and

I ordered a rattan sun bed in February with a delivery date of May, then July, then August, then September, then October, and now they are saying March 2022. I have had enough of failed promises and they don’t even tell you especially when they are still advertising this product with a delivery date now of 28 weeks. I paid for this product in full in February. I have tried to ring customer services and no response I have also tried live chat and I am just left hanging as I stated I want my money refunded in full. I want my money refunding now. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE

Wow. Cannot believe how awful this company was. Bought a beautiful 8 seater round table with lazy Susan. The lead time on it was extensive, but we figured that was due to Covid, so we understood the delivery date constantly being put back. Products finally arrived months laterally, only for the table legs to be welded incorrectly so you couldn't attach the table top. Phoned the company who immediately arranged for a replacement part in 3 days time. We thought it was excellent service.
Turns out the customer service saleswoman was simply lying. No delivery arrived and the next rep we spoke to said

DO NOT. I REPEAT. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! 1 star rating is still too many ! Customer service .... what customer service ? They take your money ! They move the goal posts. They do not deliver !!!! They had my money for over a year with no delivery of my order. They wouldn’t update me regarding delivery. I had to keep chasing them ! They continuously lied until eventually over a year later I requested a full refund to be returned within 24 hours due to their inability to fulfil the order. They even had the nerve to respond saying it’s their policy to refund within 7-10 days !!!! After

Waited nine weeks to be told that the corner unit we had purchased on their website had been discontinued even though we had several estimated delivery dates up to 2nd June. I even received email after email regarding the problems they were encountering with covid and containers and to be patient.
What an absolute shambles. I would not recommend this company what a joke. I too should have read the reviews before placing an order. Now I have to wait 10 days for a refund. If I hadn't contacted them I would still be non the wiser.

1 star is the lowest I could choose! I tried to buy a garden dining set twice, once last year and another time this year. Both the times, Rattan Direct took all of the monies upfront, committed a date and closer to the delivery date kept changing it by weeks and months stating production issues. At the end, I had to cancel and get the refund rather than they getting to make bank interest with my money! Their customer service is appalling and the effort I spent with them if put elsewhere would have proven results for me. I think they are not in the furniture business if they couldn’t fix such

Just over 2 year old £1400 set, rattan splitting and breaking, covered at all times not in use. Rattan direct not willing to repair, replace, or offer options to make good. I don’t expect such a costly set to break without any wear and tear so quickly. Shame Rattan Direct don’t feel it’s worth solving these issues to maintain client satisfaction and avoid all these poor reviews. Come on guys - you can do better than this!

We took delivery of our outdoor furniture set a few weeks ago and have never used our outdoor decking area so much.
The set we chose consists of a three-seater sofa, two armchairs with matching footstools and a glass-topped coffee table.
Every thought has gone into the design which not only looks great but is comfortable too. The footstools are stored underneath the coffee table. What you also get is a set of hard-wearing covers to keep the furniture protected from the weather.
The service from Rattan Direct was excellent and could not be faulted. From the moment of ordering to the courier company
