Romsey Glass & Joinery manufacture the finest custom windows, doors and associated wood products. The company was started in 1982, working from a disused farm building, supplying glass and wood products to local builders and home owners. The business quickly grew and was sold to Nick & Lois Opperman in 2012 by founders, Phil & Barbara Harris on their retirement.
Since then we have continued to grow by always putting our customer's needs first. For nearly 40 years our craftsmen have reliably supplied beautifully designed & crafted architectural joinery on time and on budget. Using the best quality materials, we regularly exceed the expectations of both trade & retail customers. Four decades of expansion later, we now occupy separate workshops for each manufacturing process being machining, joinery, glazing, painting/finishing plus our offices.

I had the need of a replacement solid Oak front door and was highly recommended to approach Romsey Glass and Joinery. I obtained two quotations which were were very similar and chose RGJ .
The door was delivered on time and is absolutely stunning. Every effort was made to match the design of two other Oak doors on the front elevation of the house. I was invited to visit RGJ on two occasions to view the progress of work and was impressed with the efforts that were being made to the detail of the design and structure of the door.
Full marks to Nick Opperman and his team - a great job !!

Romsey Joinery has done two terrific jobs for me, and I've been very pleased with the precision and quality of their workmanship, on-time delivery and focus on service.
My house is old, nothing is square, vertical or parallel, and everything has to be made to fit. The main project was the manufacture of 14 double glazed hardwood windows, followed by built-in shelving, cupboards and drawer units. In a wonky house, the build precision needed for these to work properly and look good is almost impossible for builders' carpenters to achieve on site, but it's also very tricky to be sure that units constructed

The joinery delivered by Nick and his team has been outstanding. Always on time, on budget, and exacting in design and fit. Our Grade II listed Hampshire farmhouse required new doors to match existing, new windows to match each existing window of various sizes, designs and vintages, and we finally entrusted them with the wonderful English oak hallway staircase. It's a magnificent piece.
Nick and his chief designer, Ian, were wonderfully patient, with the evolution of the staircase design. It had to be right, and it is. The whole process was unbelievably stress free, the fitting highly professional

Absolutely shocking customer care. Can’t believe how I have just been spoken to by Nick. I own a salon in Romsey. Was looking to get two glass shelves replaced and called them to get a quote. Our units had to be dismantled to get the correct measurements meaning our mirrors needed to be removed. After the two men left I noticed a chunk of glass about 6 inches long had been chipped off one side of the mirror. The mirror had been replaced and neither of them said anything. I called Nick and was told he knew and would be replacing the mirror. After chasing for a couple of weeks it was delivered
