What DS Locksmiths offers is a full locksmith service that is fully mobile. Meaning we can let you back in, should you get locked out. Retrieve that damaged broken key from your lock or replace a lock should you require it, and cut extra or replacement keys there and then. But we also cater for works that can be booked to suit you and schedule.
Most common external door locks in the UK use cylinder locks or mortice/lever locks. More modern doors can come with different variations. But on the whole these are the ones we see most. And as guide they would generally be fitted more commonly onto a wooden door. Mortice locks are referred to as dead locks and sash locks respectively.
As you can see there methods are shockingly quick. But with the correct fitting and insurance approved locks for your door, this can be prevented. Do not just take our word for it. Dan was brilliant from start to finish. He was really easy to get hold of, happy to answer queries over the phone and came out to quote for the work required on the same day. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, advised on the different lock levels available and which would meet our insurance requirements, and within a week from quoting we had everything installed. Dan did the work so easy, and was really tidy too, no sign he had been here other than the shiny new locks! A really great guy, and we have his number saved for any future work (or help!) we may need. Good value
