Here at James Wilding Joinery we are committed to maintaining the highest levels of product quality and customer service. After a number of years in the industry working for a highly regarded local firm of joiners, James decided it was time he went it alone and started his own business. Starting small, James had a micro workshop in Gargrave, but soon graduated into a larger unit.
At James Wilding Joinery we can manufacture a range of interior, external, bifold and french doors in contemporary or traditional designs. All of our timber doors are manufactured to an excellent standard using traditional methods and durable hardwoods or Accoya. We offer a number of door styles and configurations, examples of which can be seen below and can easily be adapted to match the period of your property.
All of our beautiful kitchens are handmade in our workshop, set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, just a short drive from the historic market town of Skipton and larger towns such as Ilkley and Harrogate. We are able to offer the full process under one roof, from a design appointment with our outstanding designers, the manufacture by our highly skilled team of cabinetmakers and installation by our professional fitters.
Here at James Wilding Joinery we produce high quality, bespoke softwood and hardwood staircases. Our craftsmen will manufacture a staircase using quality timber, made to measure to your exact specification, whether it is a new build or a renovation project. A choice of spindle and newel styles are available along with different options for stair balustrades including timber and glass.

We had patio doors removed and one very large picture window installed, glass weighed 120kgs!
It is absolutely stunning, far exceeded our expectations. The craftsmanship, quality, expertise, service is 100%, highly recommended, we are blown away!

Big thanks to James for our new, Fensa-registered front door which looks lovely. James is really friendly and the whole process from design to fitting was totally collaborative and super efficient. We also appreciated him taking away our old door. We're renovating our whole house so will be using James Wilding Joinery for many other projects in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

We have used James Wilding Joinery for several projects now, from a range of superb pre-sprayed bespoke windows and doors through to some really excellent cabinets for our utility room and laundry room. Every time Jimmi or members of his team have been in our home to install the work they have been polite, hard-working, clean and tidy. As the man in charge, we have always found Jimmi to be extremely helpful, even when only asking for advice or help with a problem. A really superb joiner who will always be a good supplier and friend. Very highly recommended...
