Miserable staff, told we could return some flooring! We took it back for a refund to be told we could not return it quite rudely and abruptly! When I explained my wife had called them regarding the return and told we could bring back the flooring they basically ignored me and just NO! The Staff need to be working from the same page. Plenty of other carpet shops in selby keep away. The review below stating you walk in and you are ignored is spot on. Very rude people

Ordered and paid for my carpet, was contacted a week later, my carpet wasn’t available. Fine chose another one holding onto original fitting date. Fitting day comes, pm appointment. Rang at 1.50 to double check they were coming, then again at 4.20, yes still coming. 4.45 they ring amd tell me their not coming can I do 9.30 the next day. What choice did I have. 8.29 the next morning they knocked me out of bed! Day after my autistic son approaches me pretending he has claws because the fitters left 2 lethal blades behind!

Used Selby Carpets before so went straight there when we needed a living room, stair and landing carpet. Walked in and no one acknowledged me or my wife so not a great start. After we asked for help, the assistant who looked like she was a customer, pointed us in the direction of a few choices, never tried to engage in what we were looking for and seemed more interested in getting back to her lunch which she was eating in the middle of the shop floor. Went to Pocklington Carpets who were brilliant, friendly and very helpful. Won’t be going back to Selby Carpets ever again which is a shame in
