With over 25 years of experience we are able to provide a friendly, experienced and complete service to our customers. We offer practical and cost effective solutions; from large scale projects including planning, surveys, design and implementation, to projects caring for individual trees, all are important to us.
Staff are qualified NPTC (National Profficiency Test Council), with an onus on continuing professional development. We adhere to AFAG (Arboricultural & Forestry Saftey Group) safety guidelines, Health & Safety at work act 1974, and Management of Health & Safety at work Regulations 1999. Staff work to guidelines set out in 'a Guide to Good Climbing Practice' (Arboricultural Association).
Ancient trees are a vital part of our landscape and history. They may be an individual tree, a historic landmark providing a rich and diverse habitat, or an old avenue of trees, an important landscape feature within a grand design. William Wolf Tree Surgery is activly envolved in the management and safeguarding of veteran trees.
A well formed hedge is a real asset. Hedges define boundaries, give shelter, provide screening and are useful as wildlife corridors. They provide the architectural backdrop for gardens. William Wolf Tree Surgery has extensive experience in hedge trimming and maintainance. We provide annual, or twice yearly trimming dependant on species and are able to advise on timing and frequency.
Fruit trees are a great addition to any garden, often planted for their more compact size and ornamental value as well as autumn harvest. Apples, Pears, Cherries and Plums are the fruit trees we most regularly work on, Quince, Medlar, Mulberry, Fig, Apricot, Peach, Kiwi and Grapevines are a other fruits we prune during the year.
