Do you have a tree or hedge problem? Perhaps you have a conifer hedge (usually leylandii) that needs reducing in height and tidying up; a big garden hedge that needs clipping or your garden is shaded by large trees that need either a crown reduction or crown lifting, or trees that need removing altogether because they are too big or in an inappropriate place.
Growing naturally out of our tree surgery work in private gardens, we have become involved in landscape gardening. Here we worked very closely with the owner to turn an unusable bank into terraces, paths and steps ready for her own planting plans. We used natural, treated timber products in keeping with the Scandinavian-style house and existing decking, taking care to protect and include the pines already on the bank into the scheme.
Trees grow to be 4.9 times stronger than their environment calls for! However even a sound tree can loose branches or blow down in the right weather conditions. There is a much greater chance of failure if the tree has a fungal attack, the roots have been disturbed, there has been a change in the surrounding environment or the tree is ageing.
