Services
Trees are aesthetically pleasing and provide important protection for a variety of wildlife. Trees need pruning and maintenance to ensure that they are both safe and suitable for their environment. It is essential that all this work is carried out by appropriately trained professionals with the knowledge, skills and experience to complete it safely and to the highest standards.
Tree stumps can be unsightly, inconvenient and provide the opportunity for damaging parasitic fungi, such as Honey fungus, to spread to localised healthy plant environments. It is common for tree stump removal to be undertaken at the time a tree is felled. Fosseway Tree Services are also often tasked to remove old tree stumps in isolation whether they are large or small.
Using a Resistograph: the latest modern decay monitoring technology to assess the health and safety of trees. We're excited to offer this service to customers. Where trees have been found to have decay or there are signs of fungus growing from a tree, it can sometimes be difficult to assess the extent of decay or how safe the tree is.
We undertake tree risk assessments in Bath, Somerset, Midsomer Norton, Radstock and all surrounding areas. Our surveying process will identify hazardous trees that may present significant risk. We provide our customers with concise reports that include a full list of the trees surveyed and any recommended management works.
If you are in the process of purchasing a property, you may have been asked by your mortgage lender for a tree report. Many lenders require a report from a tree surveyor to state that there is no reason, from an arboricultural perspective, that a mortgage cannot be provided on a property. This is required to satisfy the lender that there is no risk of tree related damage.

Great service from Simon and his team. Within a day or two of initally contacting him, he was out for a visit and had given us a quote. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive the whole way through. He was incredibly accommodating with getting us booked in within the time frame we needed due to plan house work, and made due with restricted access to the trees. The team was very professional and friendly while here, and worked hard on a very hot summer day! Would definitely recommend and plan to use again for future work.

Really impressed by Fosseway Tree Services, from quote all the way through to the post-job clean-up. Great work on an old and much-loved beech tree in a conservation area (handled all legal paperwork with council too), plus a tricky yew, and a crab apple tree and front of property hedge for good measure. The beech tree in particular needed care and attention, and we are delighted with the results. Very competitively priced too. We'll use them again and would absolutely recommend them.

Outstanding service from Simon and the team. We asked Fosseway Tree Services to cutdown and remove a number of conifer trees that had got too big to manage. Made more complicated by 3 TPO protected Limes. The work was completing really carefully, with respect for the wildlife and the other plants and trees in the garden. They left the garden immaculate, ground the stumps away and removed all of the debris. I really cannot recommend them highly enough.
