TD Tree & Land Services Ltd are professional tree surgeons, arboricultural and ecology consultants. We operate across Scotland and the North of England. We have tree surgeons in Edinburgh, Stirling and the Scottish Borders. In 2015 we achieved the Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor Accreditation - The Gold standard for a tree surgeon, the only Arb Approved Tree Surgeon in Edinburgh and one of only a few companies in Scotland.
This standard gives thorough recommendations for tree work, and guidance on the management of established trees (including soil care and tree felling) and overgrown hedges. It also looks at the impact of work on an individual tree in relation to neighbouring trees. This British Standard is intended to encourage a harmonious relationship between tree planting / retention and nearby construction.

TD Tree & Land Services tree surgeons provide a biomass Wood Chipping Service. Our Heizohack chipper produces high quality G30 and G50 grade wood chip fuel. We can come to your premises and chip 50-100 tons of timber per day, charging either by the cubic meter or by the ton, tonnage rates vary according to moisture content and timber quality.

We were really delighted to have TD Tree & Land Services attend to 5 of our largest trees last week. 3 members of the team attended site over 2 days, and each took a lot of time to discuss what we wanted to achieve, what would be the best method of carrying out the works, and what would be best for each tree. We feel very protective towards our trees! (particularly following two disastrous incidents with utility company contractors who hacked our beautiful Ash tree to bits), so were keen to find a company who would work in sympathy with each individual tree.
