SMY Electrical was formed in 1998 with a view to offering a fully comprehensive electrical installation service, from small remedial works, to large design and build projects. The service we offer covers all the engineering aspects, paying particular attention to issues surrounding the Electricity at Work Act, Health and Safety at Work Act and C.D.M. Regulations.
We have an enviable list of clients from Universities to Facilities Management companies, our client list covers a wealth of industries. Some of our clients include Oxford University, Bradfield College, Tate Gallery, Thames Valley Police, BAA, McAfee and many others. We have experience in many areas including power installation, lighting design & installation, Fire Alarms and Standby Power, which includes UPS and Generator installations.
We are registered members of various professional bodies who ensure our testing and safety procedures are up to a high standard. The NICEIC is the industry recognised testing certification and all our electrical installation work is tested to BS7671 (Latest Ammendments) and a certificate is issued as a guarantee of the installation safety and quality.
SMY Electrical have provided electrical installation services to the University for many years, the most recent project they delivered at Duke Humfreys Library was amazing.
