Established in 1925 Newland Construction has carried out all types of works over the years, including new build, design and build, planned maintenance and major refurbishment. We limit our contracting to approximately a 25 miles radius of our Head Office in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, which allows us to closely monitor the projects and so target our aim of zero defects.
We have a high level of repeat business and believe this has been achieved through our ability to respond to clients immediately and in person if required. We can boast a loyal team of experienced employees, have a very low staff turnover and are able to call upon a core team of specialist sub-contractors with whom we have built up a solid working relationship over many years.

Joined Newland Bros. Construction in 1989 as a Junior Surveyor and became joint Managing Director of Newland Construction in 1997. Paul's passion outside of work is skiing - particularly ski touring which involves skinning up hill on skis to get away from the crowds - but also bump skiing and slalom racing.
Based in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, we undertake all kinds of building projects from single storey extensions through to complex design and build schemes. Firstly it refers to our commitment to provide high quality buildings that will stand the test of time. Secondly it refers to the fact that we are an established family business, founded by our Grandfather in 1925, that can offer a professional yet personal service.
Newland Construction is a third generation family business. From its foundation in 1925 by Sidney & Alec Newland, the company has focused on delivering a high quality and personal service to its customers. Current directors Paul and Andrew Newland have centred the company on key business areas, while still maintaining the calibre of service that represents Sidney and Alec's legacy.
We have built our reputation through a solid foundation of quality processes and results. We believe in proactively managing projects rather than waiting for them to go wrong. We achieve this through strong communications links between sites and our Management Teams. On site quality control procedures start with our first involvement, particularly where we are asked to provide solutions or alternative methods of construction.
The Company was founded by Alec & Sidney Newland in 1925. Situated in Wood Green their combined trades as Plumber and Carpenter allowed them to initially work for the Waterboard. They employed approximately 25 men most of whom reached the site by motor-bike, using their sidecars to transport materials.
