Austin Heating & Air Conditioning
From installation to maintenance and boiler servicing, we can cover all aspects of your Oil and Gas Heating System. While warm air heating systems can be used in a huge range of applications, they are particularly popular in large, non-domestic buildings such as factories and warehouses. Underfloor heating can be installed as the primary heating system or used to provide additional, localised heating in specific spaces such as bathrooms.

Ventilation systems are commonly used to remove contaminants such as fumes, dusts, and vapours, in order to provide a healthy and safe working environment. Heat recovery systems typically recover between 60 to 95% of the heat in exhaust air and have significantly improved the energy efficiency of buildings.

All aspects of air conditioning are covered and we can install units in large domestic properties or in retail and commercial environments. All aspects of plumbing are covered by our highly trained technicians from rewashering taps or replacing ballvalves to installing a complete plumbing system.
Services
Whether your system is fuelled by oil, gas or lpg, we can offer a comprehensive service covering not just the boiler, but all aspects of the system. We will clean your boiler and perform a combustion analysis test to ensure it is working at optimum efficiency and therefore keeping your running costs to a minimum.
Does your property have a ducted warm air system? If it does, and if any problems have arisen you may well have been advised to "rip it out and install a wet system"! In many instances, however, this advice can arise through a lack of knowledge of the intricacies and advantages of a warm air system.
Underfloor heating is a method of heating your property without the need for wall mounted radiators. It comprises the installation of pipework installed in the floor, whether timber or solid, so that the whole floor becomes a heat emitter which therefore warms the space from the floor upwards. Underfloor heating is ideally suited to renewable technology like heat pumps as it operates at a lower water temperature.
Ventilation can be as simple as a single room extract fan to a full heat recovery system and is essential for a healthy environment. To comply with Building Regulations, extract ventilation is a requirement for all Kitchens and Bathrooms in new builds and refurbishments.
The air that is extracted from a bathroom or kitchen contains heat; this heat can be reused to preheat fresh air being delivered to habitable rooms rather than being wasted. Extract fan extracts warm/humid air from wet areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms; this air passes through a heat exchanger where heat is recovered before it is exhausted from the building.

I have be charged for an "abortative visit" dispite on the following appointment they said they would come back the next day to replace the faulty thermostat that they disconnected, in which they didn't turn up. I then had no heating for 3 days, was levied a charge, saying I hadn't organised an appointment even though the technician said he'd "let me know".
Tl;Dr: they charge you for not being there, then leave you without heating for longer than originally agreed. Not very fair.
