Beware the estimated quote. Having sent Substructure the final plans they gave me an estimated quote of £35k for the shell only build. They said I would have to pay for a detailed full fixed quote (free if they got the job). Based on the estimate I decided to go ahead. I was shocked when the full quote came through. It wasn’t particularly detailed and wasn’t even fixed with lots of estimates. Worse of all the shell only part of the build had now jumped to £55k! I have now been invoiced and paid £175 for the quote. A waste of time and money in my opinion.

Mitchell and the Substructure team did an amazing job on our exterior, building a new side wall, front wall, drive and front and back landscaping. I couldn't be happier. The number of complements we've received from neighbours has been incredible. The Substructure team was extremely courteous, helpful, showed up on time and finished the job on time. When questions arose, they always had good advice with options to choose from. Nothing but great things to say about the experience and value I received.

We cannot recommend Mitch, Matt and the rest of the team highly enough. We contracted them for a pretty big and rather complex extension and are delighted with the results. The work itself is super, but so is the work ethic of the team. They worked hard and to time, reliably and conscientiously. The attention to detail and their manner are second to none. The team were polite and timely and I will definitely use them again for future jobs. Mitch remained in constant contact with fast and convenient communication and was always on hand, even when I was changing the plan at the last minute! I honestly

Mitch and team did a superb job of replacing a tired and crumbling parking area with an area that looks so smart. Mitch advised on products and layout, and the final result is far better than I expected. He also put in new drainage channels to ensure water will drain away properly, and not just sit leading to a build up of moss.
The work was carried out professionally, and the site left clean and tidy at all times.
I couldn't recommend Substructure more highly.
