It is currently run by brother and sister team, Operations Manager Simon Tripp and Financial Manager Allison Cowie. Between them, Simon and Allison have over 40 years experience in the removals industry and have been involved in all aspects of the business. We have been a member of the British Association of Removers for over 40 years and take pride in our professionalism.
We've helped thousands of clients move their lives, businesses and treasured possessions to and from Cornwall. We pride ourselves on our ability to research and understand the requirements of everyone we work with. Our experience and problem solving skills help us plan and carry out moves as smoothly as possible.
We want your move to go as smoothly as possible, leaving you to enjoy settling into your new home. Our surveyor will visit you before the move so that we can accurately assess the size of vehicle and number of staff you'll need. We'll also check both properties to get a better sense of the access available.

Critical: Professionalism
This company had my late brother's things in storage and destroyed the lot, without having the decency to even let me look at them (he died in debt and the debt was not legally mine). Could have had family heirlooms in there for all I know. Not a way to treat someone who's grieving but this is exactly what they did. Disgusting.

Tripp removals did an excellent job of coming up from Cornwall to the Midlands in the snow in February to move us down to Cornwall. They were extremely hard working and professional and made the process very stress free and we couldnt recommend them highly enough. Thank you to Simon, Alison and the team at Tripp.

Tripp provided a terrible service to us during our move this year.
We paid for special packaging of expensive curtains, and found them rolled up at the bottom of a cardboard box, with items on top of them. Delicate ornaments were broken and seemed randomly packed. Wardrobes were only partly reassembled and badly damaged.
Our complaints were met with a combative and defensive approach, and no offer of compensation.

Professional, efficient, friendly service from the beginning, in creating an inventory through to the three day move. The moving team were prompt and worked hard, always with good humour. Thoughtful and careful packing of all items from fragile china to soft wood furniture and pictures. A well researched move, travelling over 270 miles with restricted access at the new home, all with no complications and no breakages. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone, and as a single 80 year old woman moving on my own I felt informed and supported throughout the process.

Contacted Simon on the phone not long before removal was needed. He was helpful on the phone and provided info I needed. Via email contact was straight forward including inventory and payment. On the day of removals removal man gave me a call prior to arrival. They were on time and transported our removals safely and were polite and courteous again ringing before arrival to confirm ETA. Would recommend using them.

We were incredibly happy with the total package provided by this Company on our move from Surrey to Cornwall.
The timeliness of the arrival, packing and unloading was excellent, the friendliness and professionalism of Dan, Adam and Nick was outstanding and of course the move in itself, albeit with some challenges with oversized furniture, went off very well.

Tripp removals helped me settle into my new home. Their quote was extremely competitive and for it, I received a first class service. They responded quickly to all of my questions leading up to the move, nothing was too much trouble. They were professional and very helpful on the day including moving items within the house to help me get things in the right place. Would highly recommend
