We have the ability to cut keys on site. We have a state of the art cutting machine in our vans allowing us to cut your key for you, while you wait at your home or work. We do our best to offer every service to help you when we can but we know our strengths and weaknesses and if something can't be done by us properly we will direct you to someone who can do it to make sure it is completed to a high standard.
In addition to assisting you with repairing any damage caused, replacing locks and repairing security systems, we are happy to offer our expert advice on how to prevent any burglaries and break-ins. Any additional locks on doors/windows & deadlocks are just some of the measures we might suggest to add additional security and protection to your home.
We stock a wide range of both Cylinder and mortice locks at all times, any specialist locks or keys that we don't stock can be sourced by us as expert locksmiths. Having a door chain installed can allow you to answer the door without leaving yourself exposed to any threats. A simple, yet cost effective way to add security and safety to your home.

He came out within hours on Saturday pm to fix bathroom latch jammed. Had to drill out to release, removed whole lock mechanism and replaced on Monday with new. Did both bathrooms while at it (shower room catch was not opening properly also). Very cheerful, professional. A pleasure to have working here. Totally recommend!

Gave an estimated time of arrival which was already pretty prompt, but then called to say could be there earlier if suitable, so really happy with the response time. Professional and cheerful on the job. Went beyond making the fix and solved a couple of other issues we'd had at no extra cost. TIDIED UP AFTER HIMSELF - seems an odd thing to highlight, but wouldn't be the first time we've been left with a mess after calling out tradespeople

Answered the call instantly, explained when he would be available, and arrived exactly when he said he would. Explained and sorted everything promptly, cost was perfectly reasonable, and ultimately he sorted a problem we’d had for months - in minutes. Prior to contacting Potts we’d used several local recommendations and not one other business had called us back or called round. Potts were with us practically straight away - highly recommended.
