I contacted Mike after being let down by another local tank service company. Mike did a very thorough job and explained what issues we had with the boiler. He was able to fit the correct parts, service the boiler and get us back up and running in quick time. I would highly recommend Mike.

I contacted Mike after being let down by another firm who had quoted over a £1000 to repair an oil burner problem that we inherited when we moved house. Mike responded to my initial email contact quickly and although unable to do an onsite repair that day, offered me some great pointers on what to look at over the phone. I swapped the capacitor (£30) and happily the burner fired up successfully. Will certainly be looking to use Mike's experience and skills to service the boiler in future. Highly recommended. Having a pair of oil boilers and also just arrived in a new house in a new area and not knowing anybody in 'the trade' is a worry. After a quick review of a number of oil boiler service engineers Mike was booked in. I liked his mater of fact approach on costs before any commitment for repairs are made and his onsite explanation of his own trusted processes to diagnose any issues outside a normal service. One boiler was a simple service - the other was a lengthy unpicking of some highly dubious bodges. At every stage of the repair (note the drop of the word 'service') Mike explained each cause and

I contacted Mike on-line for a quote to fix a cold radiator. He rang me the same day and, after a very useful conversation about the radiator and my old oil fired system, which I intend to replace next year, Mike gave me contact details of suppliers and installers which I could consider when I was ready to go ahead. And the cold radiator? I took Mike’s advice as to what the problem might be, followed his instructions, and fixed it myself! Amazing customer service. Thanks for your time, help and advice Mike.

Mike has been an absolute star coming out to us and fixing a problem within an hour on New Year's Eve and then going above and beyond to find a second leak under the floor on New Year's Day. He is very thorough, takes time to explain what the problem is and what needs to be done to fix it and is very generous with his knowledge. He's a lovely guy, very respectful of both you and your property, makes the minimum of mess and gets the job done with the minimum of fuss. Highly recommended for anyone with an oil-fired boiler. You won't find better service.

What a fantastic person - Mike took the time to help me and talk me through what I needed to do in order to resolve my issue over the phone. It was a simple repair but has made a huge difference to me and my family as living without hot water isn't very nice. I was able to resolve the simple issue myself with Mikes help.
