Based in West Yorkshire, we are a family run business that has over 50 years of combined experience. We specialise in the repair, installation and sales of all makes and models of freestanding and built in appliances. All our engineers are fully trained on multi branded appliances and have excellent contacts with most manufacturers enabling us to get the repair done in a timely manner without you incurring any unnecessary costs.
Despite us being a repair business we also sell and install new and graded appliances. Often saving 's on high street prices. Our prices include delivery, installation and disposal of the old appliance and packaging.
Perhaps the most common appliance repair we carry out at A&E Appliances is, washing machine repair and service. Our team of field engineers are fully trained to carry out repairs on integrated and built-in washing machines and tumble dryers from an extensive range of manufacturers, including Beko, Hotpoint, Bosch, Whirlpool and many, many more.
One of the main issues customers have with appliance companies is the cost of the repair. Most companies charge a call out fee then charge per half hour which means costs can soon spiral out of control. To give you peace of mind we charge a flat rate repair fee. Meaning we only charge once for labour regardless if we need to call back with parts.

Praise for admitting a fault and compensating rapidly and with an apology.
I called A&E Appliances to arrange an extractor fan repair. The engineer who came opined incorrectly that the extractor could not be repaired.
Another company's engineer located and repaired the fault.
I complained and my complaint was dealt with rapidly and pleasantly. I think that deserves a ***** rating.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Responsiveness, Value
Tiresome and unprofessional! They came to repair the washer/dryer, ordered the part which took a whole week only to tell me its not the right part! I had to initiate everything. Prickly and argumentative. They used excuses to pass for an apology. I do not recommend and I would not use them again.

Picked them to fix my Indesit tumble dryer as they had 20 out of 20 5 star reviews on Google, promising same or next day call-out and fix 90% of repairs on 1st visit, carry a wide selection of van stock to get your appliance working as soon as possible, offer am or pm appointments.
Well, I must be in the 10% of repairs that cannot be fixed first visit!

From the moment our property manager asked you to call us to arrange a review of the washer/dryer the process has been so smooth and easy to follow. You had lots of flexibility and worked around our very complex shift pattern, the engineer who did the original call out was very friendly (wore a mask) and quickly diagnosed the problem. The options for replacement were a very fair price and arranged promptly. The old washer/dryer was removed with the new one being installed while we were out of the flat. Everything was left very neatly and clean and the new washer/dryer is working really well

Outstanding service from A&E
We've been trying to problem solve our dishwasher leak for weeks. The guy from A&E homed in on the problem in seconds - a tiny crack in the spray arm. It cost less than £50 to solve whereas we'd been panicking that we might need a new dishwasher, so we were super satisfied and highly recommend.

Don't use this company!!!! They tell you they can fix something, £100 later, I am out of pocket, they haven't fixed it and they won't come back as they say its a new problem although Curry's who came to install my new appliance says its the same problem. They look for the quickest time possible to be in your house and don't fix the problem...so you end up calling them back many times until eventually you give up and buy a new machine, which I should have done in the first place!!!!

I have used A&E Appliances as a supplier for s number of years. I have found their approach professional and above the rest. When attending to repairs, their attention to detail is next to none.
