W & S Landscapes
From paving to garden structures, water features to fencing, hard landscaping gives the landscape form and structure on which the softer elements can then transform. Hard landscaping refers to anything else but plants! They are usually functional and can include paths, driveways, patios, terraces, walls, decks, greenhouse, ponds and pools.

Soft landscaping is the elements of a landscape that do not involve construction. They usually include planting from trees, shrubs, and flowers, as well as container gardens, potted plants, and hanging baskets. Changing the soft elements of a landscape is an easy way to change the entire look of the outside of the home without too much cost and effort!

The main aspects of landscape design incorporate the elements of unity, scale, balance, variety, emphasis, and sequence. They apply to line, form, texture, and colour. These elements are interconnected.
Services
Wands landscaping is a family run business that has been established for 15 years. We offer services all over Sussex and surrounding areas. Since starting my business in 2002 it has grown considerably, which has enabled us to take on several skilled members of staff and build a good customer base. Our business has grown mainly through word of mouth from regular clients and recommendations to new potential customers.
Groundworks is the foundation or basis of a project carried out in the early stages and that makes later work or progress possible. It is the stage at which all preparation for your project is carried out. The term groundworks covers bulk earthworks, site enabling work, foundations, drainage installation and the installation of services.
Garden fences serve a variety of purposes. They provide a barrier and mark boundaries and are used for privacy. Decorative fences enhance the beauty of the home and landscape and other fences serve to block the wind or to reduce sound. Fences can also be used to separate areas in a garden or in a field or any area to maybe make paddocks etc or just to divide up the land.
Choosing paving is one of the hardest decisions to make in the design and build of a new garden. There are so many factors to take into consideration, and it needs serious thought as the costs involved can be substantial. Unfortunately, the choice isn't getting easier as every year the major paving suppliers come up with new products to add to the mix!
Decking in a garden provides a natural place for people to entertain, play or simply relax in the sun al fresco. Decking was introduced into the UK in the early 1990s and has since grown hugely in popularity. Timber decking is now an established hard landscaping material and is great for the increasingly popular garden makeover, as people seek to extend their living space to relax, entertain and play outdoors.

Left driveway covered in wet cement. Allowed resin to flow into drain which swelled up and blocked main pipe. Ignored request for receipt of payment. Workman noisy and using foul language.
