Based in the historic market town of Penrith, and run by husband and wife team, Kelvin & Helena Kate, we take great pride in supplying the right product and delivering exceptional customer service.
We stock a large range of quality light fittings, shades, bulbs, table and floor lamps. We also provide an ordering service for unusual bulbs, bespoke shades and accessories. We are delighted to be open and trading Monday to Saturday 9-5 and have been genuinely touched by how many of our customers have returned to shop with us.

Social distancing measures are in place in store and we ask for your patience whilst we get back to a bit more like normal. Whilst we do not sell online, we are able to arrange for many of our products to be delivered direct to you if required.

Seagraves & Dixon was formed almost 14 years ago when husband and wife team Kelvin and Helena Kate Dixon took over the business of 'Seagraves Electricals' which had traded in the town for over 20 years. During this time, the shop has developed from a contract electrical company into the independent specialist lighting store you see today.
We stock a large range of quality light fittings, shades, bulbs, table and floor lamps. The products shown below are a small selection of the lighting we sell from our showroom. Whilst we do not sell online, we are able to arrange for many of our products to be delivered direct to you if required. We use some fantastic suppliers, including dar lighting, and we are happy to order any products seen on their website here.

Totally in love with our new feature lights!! Seagraves and Dixon is a truly wonderful, proper local shop. Brilliantly helpful and knowledgeable staff and a huge choice of lights, including loads of catalogues… if you don’t spot something you like on display. Nothing was too much trouble. Had a slight fault with one of the lights (they wouldn’t have known) and getting it changed was no hassle at all. That’s the kind of service you want!
