With changes in climatic conditions and budget reductions in local government, you are more likely to require a private pest controller now than at any other time previously. From ants to moles, houses to warehouses - we're here to look after you and to make sure your pest issue is sorted efficiently and discreetly.
Subject to the location and size of the rodent infestation, we will place baited traps and/or anticoagulant rodenticides to tackle the initial issue, this will require a minimum of two site visits. Once the rats or mice have been dealt with, we will then advise you on how best to keep your property or business free of future rodent infestation.
We know that grey squirrels should be considered as rodents but we are seperating them from mice and rats as our control techniques differ. At Hemingford Pest Control we believe that trapping is the safest and most humane control for grey squirrels and will only use poisons when there is no alternative.
Cockroaches are known to carry many forms of disease including typhoid, dysentery and gastroenteritis. Many food poisoning outbreaks in public buildings have been linked back to cockroach infestation. Treatment can be complex but in most cases insecticidal control is effective, be it as a surface spray, space spray or bait.
Bedbugs are becoming an increasingly common problem in the UK, due to many more of us staying in hotel accommodation as well as the increased movement of secondhand furniture, through auction and recycling sites. They are not regarded as disease transmitters but their presence can be no less disturbing.
