Richard is great! We first used him about 2 years ago to make a bespoke fitted wardrobe for our bedroom. I’m quite particular about design and he listened to everything I wanted and suggested options to keep it within our budget and to achieve the look I wanted. The finished result is perfect – Richard is a perfectionist and takes a real pride it the quality of his work. We have since had Richard to do some cupboard doors and alcoves for our attic room and a cupboard, new door and cupboard door for our dining room – every time we have been really pleased with the finished result. On the basis of his work in the bathrooms of our renovated house, we have commissioned him to design and make shelving for books and cupboards on two walls of the study, all in European oak. The dressing room will also have an entire wall or fitted wardrobes again with oak interiors.
Richard is a great craftsman, producing very fine quality furniture and his prices were very competitive

Richard made some dining room units, bookshelves and a CD and book storage unit for me after I moved house and needed the storage space. I was extremely pleased with the high standard of his work, and the finished result was just as I hoped. He was painstaking in his preparation and the execution of the work. He is also, and importantly, a very pleasant man, with a good sense of humour, and nothing was too much trouble. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
