As we'll be working with you for a while as we design, then install, your new kitchen, bedroom or bathroom we like to get to know our customers. And so we thought you might like to know a little bit about us too. At its heart Lifestyle Designs is a family business, started 15 years ago by Michael Telford.
At Lifestyle Designs we are proud to be a Second Nature Specialist Retailer, supplying their full range including the inframe 1909 range. We also supply Burbidge kitchens and a full range of accessories including the amazing Kessebohmer larder storage. Choosing to get a new kitchen, bedroom or bathroom is a big decision and choosing your designer is often an even bigger one! We understand that around Consett and Durham there is a huge amount of choice in designers and fitters. Some have showrooms, some don't. Some have websites, some don't. Then you find one you like and they don't supply the Neff oven from The Great British Bake Off that you had your heart set on.
We are also exceptionally busy this summer, which is great, but we may struggle to answer the phone during office hours, so please do email us with any questions and we'll reply asap. Lifestyle were absolutely brilliant. We had new doors fitted in the kitchen and some extra touches which they recommended for us. Throughout the whole process lifestyle were so helpful, kept in touch and always on hand to help give advice and let us know what they could do for us. Nothing was a problem. They were really efficient, they let us know… when they would be there and kept us informed of what was happening all the way through the process from picking the kitchen to the installation. We are so pleased with the kitchen and would recommend these to anybody looking for brilliant quality

Poor customer service. Appointment cancelled under an hour before via Facebook messenger that was not received in time. Advised they'd ring the next morning... no phonecall... chased them twice before getting fobbed off. Yes this is a difficult time for everyone but customer service is important and it takes nothing to ring and cancel an… appointment or to arrange for someone at work to pass the relevant number on so the call can be made. Nor is it acceptable when a customer has been told to expect a phonecall and chases said phonecall up twice for the response to be but Michael spoke to

Michael and his team of amazing tradesmen turned our large bedroom into a smaller bedroom with fitted wardrobe and a very stylish family bathroom. As part of the design they also created a lobby area with full height cupboard. We are absolutely thrilled with the result and would recommend them to anyone with a similar project in mind. Very professional and at a very reasonable price!
