I'd just like to say what a fantastic job these guys did. They arrived bang on time, almost like they was waiting for 8 am to strike before knocking. This is very much appreciated as I hate lateness and had to get the kids off to school.
The lads were polite and courteous at all times and unloaded the kit by themselves leaving to get the kids off to school and when I arrive back 15 mins later, the climber was already at the top of the tree. Highly impressive work ethic there!

This company were employed by the council to pollard the trees on my road. They forgot to issue a notice on our car asking us to move it the night before, so had to ask us on the day if we were able to move it. With my partner not at home, one of their team pressed on my buzzer incessantly for 5 minutes whilst I was trying to conduct a virtual meeting at home. I told him over the interface that I couldn't come down as I was in a meeting, but he continued to press the buzzer. Inconsiderate and unfriendly. Came across these tree fellers clearing trees at the back of property on the Croydon Road, Caterham. They had very inconsiderately blocked the pavement with the logs and branches recently lopped and when they saw my elderly mother navigate the hazards instead of apologising profusely and rushing to help (the correct response), the feller said "you could of used the other side of the road" and then got extra bolshy that he was sworn at. Best practise would be to never have blocked the pavement in the first place and cleared up as they went along. Not impressed.

Paul and the crew took down 4 trees for us. They did a fantastic job and are a lovely bunch of lads. Very professional and knowledgeable. They were careful as the trees where right on the fence line of our new fencing, they ensured safety at all times and cleared the garden once they were finished. They left the large logs for us to use on our fire. They were reasonably priced and we would definitely use them again. Highly recommended.

English Oak were a pleasure to deal with from the very first interaction. They provided a quick quote, and were prompt in their follow up. When it came to do the work, the team were exemplary in their service and approach. They worked very hard and fast, and yet were extremely professional and friendly at all times. Our lack of side access meant they had to take a very large tree through our house piece by piece, and I was astonished by the lack of mess they made. The team made sure our house and garden was left spotless, and I could not be more satisfied with the result.

We've now had English Oak a second time to manage our trees. The first visit was to sustainably manage 4 oak trees and 4 lime trees (2 with TPOs). We were so pleased with their work, that our neighbours have had them do work for them, and they're now in our garden for a second time managing even more trees.
Paul and his team have done stump grinding, dead wood management, tree removal, tree reduction - all looking trees left looking beautiful and well shaped. All waste removed and Paul and his team are a joy to have on site.
Really "wood" recommend!

Very professional staff always greeted with a smile and expert knowledge. English oak pruned my Purple plum tree and trimmed and formalised our comifer hedge out the front of our house. The tidy up was immaculate we couldnt tell they had worked in our garden apart from the high quality of pruning of our trees. Thank you English Oak im sure everone will ask who did the work as we live in a close and the work wil be visible to all locals.
