Come and see us at our beautiful Little Jenkins Barn showroom which was completed in 2017 and is located conveniently near Bishop's Stortford and the M11. The showroom has received 2 major updates this year and you will notice some of the changes in the images above, which include a new range of luxury granite worktops, Carrara style quartz, the latest appliances from Sub-Zero & Wolf, plus updates to our furniture.
At The Handmade Kitchen Company, we have been crafting bespoke handmade shaker style kitchens for over 20 years and have created many designs over this time to suit a wide range of personalities, available space and budget. You will notice we have split our collection into three; the Classic Shaker, Traditional Shaker and Modern Shaker.
We had our kitchen replaced in 2013 by Hand made Kitchen company. They did a great job and were really responsive, helping us to design the layout and making really helpful suggestion. I didn't leave a review at the time, just didn't get round to it but 4 years on it still looks like new. Someone visited the other day and commented that we had a new kitchen.

We got the keys to our lovely Victorian flat in Queen’s Park one week into the first lock down. We had a month to get the bathroom and kitchen done before we moved in. The Handmade Kitchen Co. were great during this process, they said they could get it done within 3 weeks and they did it. During a fairly tense time in the pandemic, they worked with the builders and got the job done.
As we’ve been in almost constant lockdown during our first year here - I’ve had to spend rather a lot of time in our kitchen and I still look at it and love it!
The worktops look beautiful and they are practical

We found handmade kitchen co online whilst searching for a modern shaker kitchen that didn’t cost the earth. We met Nick, Billie and all the family who were very accommodating to our needs and managed to include everything that was on our wish list! We were extremely impressed with the quality of carpentry and the hand painted finish. The installation went pretty smoothly (a few glitches but nothing that couldn’t be sorted out) and we are over the moon with our stunning new kitchen. It’s definitely in the same league as Tom Howley and Martin Moore etc but nowhere near their prices.

My Beautiful Kitchen
Nick transformed my cramped dark kitchen to a bright beautiful spacious kitchen .
The workmanship is excellent , beautiful smooth hinged doors what don’t bang anymore but glide shut.
My cupboards hold an abundance of stuff, I have so much more room as the cupboards are made so much wider which fit so much more in them but crazy thing is I have so much more room in my kitchen.
My lovely seating area is comfy cosy and every small detail I asked Nick to do for me was all completed.
My beautiful hand made table just finishes the area off nicely . The table and comfy seating

We are thrilled with our new kitchen. Nick and his team couldn’t have been more helpful. The design process was enjoyable - I trusted Nick’s opinion due to his obvious experience in the industry. The fitting team were always punctual and professional and all work was to a very high standard. We ended up choosing the same colour scheme as in the showroom and it looks stunning! Thank you for a great job.

I am delighted with my Handmade Kitchen and so is my husband who has slight physical difficulties and severe memory difficulties. Nick listened carefully to our needs for our tiny scullery of a kitchen and was able to give us excellent, solid advice.

Nick designed and installed a kitchen in our new side return extension. He had fantastic ideas about how to best use our space. When it came to installation, his team were skilled and considerate workmen and very easy to deal with. We were also pleased that the initial quote we got included the finishes and it felt like there were no hidden extras. We would recommend him to anyone.

Our whole experience from start to finish was fantastic...the showroom is amazing, well worth a visit. Nick was great, helpful throughout and gave us some great ideas. Delivery was when promised, Nick also personally visited to check we were happy with everything. Quality of the kitchen is outstanding. Cannot recommend enough.

Nick installed our kitchen 6 years ago , it still looks fabulous, the craftsmanship is very high as it still looks and functions as well to this day
The odd minor issue which has actually been our fault was soon resolved by Nick and his team , even many years after installation.

Stunning showroom, was very happy with the information available to me, Nick is very knowledgeable. I had a demonstration of the Sub Zero wine chiller which is dual zone exactly what we wanted, we are looking to include that in our upcoming kitchen project. We are looking forward to the kitchen being installed by Nick and his team in the coming months.
