We supply headboards, beds and a wide range of furniture for every room in the home. We make quality, sprung slatted beds in our workshop to order. Each bed is made of solid wood and is hand-assembled and hand-finished.
These beds are built to last, our customers tell us that many are still in regular use after 30 years! Services
Unlike many modern furniture companies, we can trace our heritage back well over a century, to 1888 in fact. At that time furniture production relied on sourcing local timber and the skill of the craftsman making the pieces. There was very little in the way of mass production and pieces were made with whatever wood was in plentiful supply locally.
At Cotswold Caners we produce all of our furniture from Ash. This has exquisite natural grain which we enhance with the use of a variety of water based stains which are applied by hand to create the perfect texture, colour and finish. By sourcing our raw material from Britain we believe we are assisting in the conservation of the countryside and this has the added benefit of not being affected by external forces such as currency fluctuations.

I bought a Cotswold Caners bed base in July 1994 when I lived in Batheaston, Bath. I moved to Australia in February 1997.
I still have the bed, despite many moves. It is still in excellent condition, despite living in warm/hot subtropical Queensland for 21 years now.
I have no doubt the bed will last another 25 years or so and probably more! Top work!
