I moved into a flat that has a Securifix alarm system installed. The alarm went off for some reason, and the security code (left with the system details by the previous owner) did nothing. They were unable to help without a contract - which I would have been happy to pay for - but no - apparently even paying them to help me disable their faulty system was not an option. Deeply unimpressed. Fortunately I was able to disable it with the help of another security firm who talked me through the proces gratis, on the phone.

I would not use this company for any type of security installation as when there are issues with their systems they deny responsibility placing the liability on you as the user. I had a FOB that worked correctly and granted me access to my underground garage until the door was crashed into, since that time the FOB only works for front door entry. What this means to me is having to lock my child in the car and leave her unsupervised while I run to the front of the building, use an elevator , press the garage release button and run back to my car in time to drive through the closing gate.
