The modern business of GB Liners has grown out of a company established by the present Managing Director's grandfather as Bartup's Limited in Brighton in 1923. In 1946, a small moving and storing business in Hereford was purchased from Trevor Williams and a new company was formed called Trevor Williams (Removers) Ltd.

My elderly Father booked GB Liners to move from Herefordshire to Wiltshire. It was a difficult and emotional move with 2 drop offs and with him leaving the area he had been in for 22 years. The team packed up very efficiently and quickly and Martin did a great job of overseeing the job. He was incredibly polite, friendly and respectful to my Father and nothing was too much bother. He and Robin did the unpacking of the furniture to 2 drop offs and although it was a late day, both of them were brilliant in keeping their humour and could not have done more to make it a smooth move. GB Liners carried out a cross country move for us with difficult access issues at one end. Although it was a tough move, they handled it well and the guys were very friendly throughout. They always made sure we were happy with where all our items were placed and were careful with our furniture.

Having to move from my lovely home after the death of my husband was heartbreaking but GB Liners were the perfect company to deal with. From the very first phone call everyone was helpful, patient and understanding. I felt supported and cared for. The move to a storage unit was stress free and the team had the ideal combination of professionalism and humour.I cannot recommend them highly enough.

The drivers arrived on time and effectively packed the lorries within the time stated, taking care with any fragile items and the heavy ones too.
Drivers arrived at new property after a 6.5 hour drive on time too and after a tour of the the new property promptly started to unpack the lorries.
They put all the items in the room of our choice and placed furniture where we wanted it and even carried heavy planters up onto the decking !
The drivers were polite, professional and courteous at all times and nothing was too much trouble. They made a stressful time more bearable.
There was nothing damaged
