They have been trained by the National Association of Chimney Sweeps (NACS) and are authorised to issue NACS certificates for you which are recognised by your insurance company. Based in Havant, Safer Chimneys provides chimney sweeping services and chimney camera surveys across South and East Hampshire and neighbouring West Sussex.

Services
My career began with an apprenticeship as an Aero/Engine Fitter, spending 10 years in the Civil Service maintaining and repairing helicopters at Fleetlands in Hampshire. I spent the next 24 years in Public Service, so my career to this point had given me skills in communication, customer care and attention to detail which I've taken into my new career as a chimney sweep.

Regular sweeping of the chimney will remove any blockages like bird's nests, soot and creosote to allow dangerous combustion gases to escape, prevent chimney fires and risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
