I don’t normally leave reviews but whilst recommending The Modern Furniture Company to a friend the other day, realised that I really should post one. Recently I purchased some Bontempi barstools from them and went on to order a dining table and chairs, and some beautiful Cattelan Italia mirrors. I was worried about making a mistake and therefore was very indecisive about colours etc but Emily was fantastic, sending me sample after sample and was in constant touch to see if she could help and if I needed anything.

We ordered a beautiful dining table and set of chairs from the Modern Furniture Company who offered us the best price and delivery schedule - particularly as we were about to re-locate back to the UK and needed the furniture quickly. Once delivered, the table was assembled efficiently by the delivery team. We also ordered 2 more chairs later as were very satisfied with the original purchase. The Modern Furniture Company came across as very polite and accommodating and we would definitely use them again.

This was my first time of using The Modern Furniture Company. We ordered all of our dining room furniture from here and Nick was extremely helpful in assisting us in choosing the right table, chairs and sideboard. Delivery lead time was really good (6-7 weeks) as all furniture is made to order and was far quicker than other companies like Dansk were offering (excess of 14 weeks).
All furniture was delivered and constructed on site by 3 people who took great care to keep the dining room clean and tidy and can highly recommend them especially when you consider just how heavy some of this furniture

We recently ordered our outdoor sofa, dining set & bar stools from Nick & Emily. The whole experience was excellent from reviewing options on furniture to ordering.

Highly recommend this family run business, selling fine quality garden furniture at a competitive price. Even in lockdown, we could browse their entire showroom by Nick’s excellent video! Check it out! We are so happy with our Stirling table, Ascot chairs and our Adirondack chair and footstool! Emily was so helpful on the phone and Nathan and the delivery team were brilliant, assembling our furniture (with white glove service), placing it exactly where we wanted it, and taking all the packaging away. Definitely a five star service! Thank you guys!

Absolutely delighted with the quality of this Cattelan table and chairs!! So impressed with the service from themodernfurniturecompany (spoke with Nick and Emily).
