The Window Company is a family run business installing UPVC windows, UPVC doors, conservatories and roofline in Manchester. You won't find any hyped up deals or fake double-glazing offers here I'm afraid, we're not that sort of company. We're traditionalists, we believe in long-term relationships with customers who come back to us time and time again.
Our history starts back in 1988 when The Window Company was formed in Green Lane, Sale by Mr Glen Squire and his family. I'm Wayne Shaw and I have owned The Window Company since 2006 and still hold Glen's motto at the forefront of our business. When I started I worked with my Uncle Chris as an apprentice joiner installing windows, doors and conservatories.
Our team is lead by Wayne Shaw the Managing Director and owner who took over the company in 2006. Since then The Window Company has built up a fantastic team of highly skilled craftsmen and installers. All of which have a keen eye for attention to detail and years of experience between them. All of our installers are employed by us, we don't use sub-contractors.

The window company guys,Darren,Sean and Tom were amazing and did a fabulous job.We had 6 windows installed and stone sills replaced in three.They were extremely tidy and worked so hard,they were a joy to have around and are a credit to the company.I would highly recommend this company.The staff on the phone lines are also very helpful.

Had all the windows in my house replaced last week. I'm so happy I went with this company, right from the start they got back to me when they said they would, gave a really reasonable price and the guys that came to do the fit couldn't have been more friendly and efficient. I'm really happy with the quality of the fit, one of them even fixed the toilet for me 😀

Very friendly service throughout. I was kept updated and all details checked at each stage. The fitting guys Nev and Alan were lovely and have done a great job. Nice, personable staff and first class workmanship to you all . Both Nev and Alan turned up at agreed time, worked extremely hard all day, even through the coldest days. Would recommend others to use them. Great job guys x

We'd heard lots of good things about The Window Co and can confirm that every single one of them was true. From start to finish they have been helpful, professional and friendly. We had all new windows in a three bed semi and they look great. Don't go to one of the huge window companies! The Window Co were very competitively priced and even though the service was very professional, it also had the local and personal touch that can be missing nowadays.

What a superb service this is. First class professionalism in every way from start to finish. We had our old/original stained glass top windows encapsulated in to the new ones and they look wonderful.
Fitting was completed with the minimum of fuss and mess. Two experienced and skilful fitters were a joy to have about the house (masked and socially distanced at all times)
