Had a someone round to give us a quote on a new Conservatory, this apparently wasn't a "salesmam". Nearly 3 hours of talking about how wonderful first are and how terrible every other company in East anglia is we arrived at a quote. £41000, which if we signed up today would go down to £28000 and if we had a board outside for longer it would be £24000. We advised the gentleman we would consider it and have a think. He couldn't leave fast enough. Tactics of scaring people and offering a one time amazing discount makes it well worth STAYING AWAY from this company

I will happily edit this review as my complaint is processed. I rang First Home Improvements last Friday (18/6/2021) and was told no-one was available to take my call and that I would be called back. No-one has returned my call. Below is a copy of the email I sent to the Customer Services email address I was provided by a First Home Improvements member of staff, no-one has replied to my email to date. Today I have sent a follow up email asking why I haven't yet received a response.

I wouldn’t recommended this company too anyone, we had windows fitted in 2017 bearing in mind we had a 10yr warranty all of a sudden out the blue our bedroom window has completely shattered on the inside? Only me and my husband here so no kids to do any damage no one else goes in our bedroom. Anyway called to explain what’s happened to window low and behold we must have done it or a stone or a bird flew in to it erm on the inside please don’t make me it out to be our fault but that’s what they are saying and guess what yeah you probably have!!!! we have to pay as it’s not covered so why

1st Home Improvements have been very good throughout the Whole Process of Buying and fitting our new Front door, Our existing Door was very difficult to lock and was tired. We initially had a leaflet brought to the door and having been given many leaflets before I wouldn't have arranged an appointment but the gent at the door was friendly and honest so we booked an appointment I was called to confirm the appointment and I had already had other companies around to see us and they were at our house for Hours and because I knew what I wanted, I asked to not have the full presentation of everything

Zero Stars if it was possible, quite simply appalling, poor service from beginning to end and total lack of care from company. Price increased by 20% from original quote. Ongoing dispute about manufacturing defects and installation problems. Constantly let down with regards to people getting back to us/resolving issues. Noone seems to speak to each other in company and they really dont give two hoots once they have your money. Luckily they are on finance so having to get finance company involved to get any sort of action/response.....STAY AWAY

Having admittedly taken a cold call, something I never normally do but decided to be polite for a change – after all I had been considering new doors/windows for some time - I was very impressed with the look and feel of the product samples., as well as the history of the firm and the 12-year guarantee . The personnel I came into contact with were all courteous and helpful and the installation was completed amazingly fast. I had a window converted to a French door and was very pleased that all the ‘extra’ work – brick removal, plastering was undertaken by the company itself. It is too early
