We are suppliers of beautiful antique & reproduction fire surrounds, both traditional & contemporary, open & glass fronted remote controlled gas fires & Clearview Stoves. Most importantly, we offer a truly one-stop-shop experience, working with you from idea conception & design through to installation & completion.
Furthermore, we employ our installers. We register the installation with HETAS, who issue a certificate. In addition, Brown's are one of the only HETAS approved retailers and installers in London. One of our engineers is also registered with The Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps. Hence, he will issue a certificate of sweeping on completion.
A Gas Safe registered engineer carries out the gas installations & servicing. We are on hand in our showroom, or on the telephone, to advise and assist you with your choices. This ensures that we meet your requirements both aesthetically and purposefully.

Less than 10 minutes walk from the famous Beatles zebra crossing, our warm and stylish showroom is open 5 days a week. Whether you are looking for a stove, gas fire, or fireplace our friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to talk you through the options available.
Prior to any installation, an engineer from Brown's Fireplaces Ltd will carry out a thorough inspection of the chimney to make sure it is appropriate for your choice of fire. All of our engineers are HETAS approved installers so you can be confident the work will be completed to the highest of standards and in accordance with the relevant building regulations.
Gas is a clean, odourless and convenient option with no residues to clean up. Once you have chosen the ideal feature for your home our chimney engineers will complete an on-site inspection to make sure everything is ok to proceed. After the installation has been carried out our gas safe registered engineer will thoroughly inspect the installation to ensure that you fire will burn correctly and safely before signing it off.
A basket can be a simple and elegant way to house your fire. You can try pairing a plain basket between a set of decorative fire dogs or perhaps you prefer something grander with detailed fret work. The baskets below are suitable for gas fires, bio ethanol, or for decorative purposes and may be supplied with either coals, pebbles or artificial logs.
If you are looking for something modern, then a hole-in-the-wall fireplace may be right for you. This is a bespoke product, available in a number of materials. They can be supplied with artificial coals, pebbles or logs. Alternatively your hole-in-the-wall fireplace can house a unique sculpture produced by a local artist.

I was very impressed by Browns professional service and staff, who were both knowledgeable and helpful ,which made my choice of appliance that much easier..The surveyor clearly new his job and talked me through the installation process. On the day itself the fitter was polite. clean, tidy and left the room as you would expect to find it So refreshing. We wouldn't be without our stove. I would recommend this company.
