We are a team of designers, technicians and project managers. It is our job to translate the idea into a production ready design and then manage the project through to successful handover. With experience working on contracts of all sizes and budget, we bridge the gap between design and manufacture.

The craftsmanship is amazing, so beautifully done.
They also did an amazing piece of work for a local based charity - an Afghan Box Camera to use with a group of young people as part of an ongoing photography project.
I have found Dave and his team to be approachable, talented and would highly recommend this company.
I certainly would use them again.

As architects we have worked with Young and Norgate many times to provide joinery for our clients. We keep coming back for more because it is always a pleasure. The collaborative process, seeing, touching and using the end result are always great experiences. Their knowledge about how to get the most out of timber is second to none.

We approached Young & Norgate with a few ideas of what we would like and we have ended up with a fantastic hall cabinet hiding our shoes, coats and ironing board, a wall to wall lounge cabinet housing a filling draw and the sound system.. all covered with a great surface called Forbo… and a fantastic walnut table and kitchen cabinet with a concrete top …

Ross, Dave and their team are exactly the kind of people you want to work with. Their approach was open and helpful during the design stages which helped to shape our ideas into a build-able reality. In construction, they were on-time, precise and delivered a beautiful product. Their care and love of the work is apparent in both their manner and the end product (which is finished as beautifully on the inside as it is on the out). Fantastic!

These guys are magicians, there is no other word to describe them. They made the most epic curved staircase in my new home and it was fascinating just watching all the other trades stop as they walk past and just marvel at the skill and engineering that had gone into it. For me and my family... we stop and admire how incredibly beautiful it looks. It was a very difficult piece to commission and I doubt there are many firms that could have pulled it off - Dave and Ross are incredible at what they do.

We have recently had the pleasure of working with Dave Young and his team on a new kitchen for a period country house. They worked tirelessly on getting the spec and finish right and the result is a beautiful light, clean space that works like a charm. The addition of a gorgeous table (fit for feasts) in the adjoining area has made this part of the house the perfect space for congregating and cooking up a storm. We hope to have plenty more projects with Y&N in the future. Thanks guys.

Young and Norgate made a bespoke 90cm round table for my client based on one of their designs. They were most helpful and responsive during the detail and design process and myself (a designer) and my client were very pleased with the finished item. I did initially think the price was quite high but on enquiring about a second piece of joinery from them, the price seemed reasonable.

Young & Norgate helped us with the design and creation of our kitchen cabinet fronts, frames, shelves, high cabinets and island side boards. We couldn't be happier with the end result!
