Resin bound surfacing produces the appearance of a natural aggregate of stone but is firmly bonded using quality assured resin to create a strong, durable surface with excellent traction whilst both wet and dry therefore ensuring a non-slip surface. Paul Martin Paving laid some porcelain paving for me back in Nov 2018. Initially I was pleased with the work but soon after the joints in the paving started to wash away and several slabs became loose.
The porcelain paving was not laid in accordance with guidelines I have learnt since – they were bedded on dabs not a solid base, no spacers were used between joints, no drainage was allowed for and poor levels cause pooling of water after rain. They used "Easy Joint" in the joints which is fine if the pavers are laid correctly but this has now washed away in many places and several of the slabs

Poor quality works, tells lies, very aggressive and abusive, poor workmanship, bad businessman. Con man. Bully, swearing over the phone at my elderly mother in law. Was meant to come and fix the poor works but instead there was no contact and refusing to do any more works. After 3 weeks of trying to get in contact he called and swore over the phone at my mother in law. Very abusive and bullying. Fearful now. Reporting to trading standards. Terrible company

My Mother had paving work done and the work was supposed to be gureented for 7 years but Paul refused to carry out the work became abusive and refused to fix the problem. He is an Evil man who doesn't care about his costumers. He just wants to take their money and not do the work properly. Avoid this man He is very bad

We decided to go with Paul Martin Driveways as I’d seen examples on their site and read Google reviews which were very positive. Paul came to quote and it was only after that, I found out a couple of my friends had their drives previously completed by Paul and were extremely happy with the work. His team worked tirelessly from start to finish, never breaking off, clearing rubble, laying an immaculate drive way and building a difficult curved front wall. Initially Paul came over to quote. He was on time, friendly and was very keen to get the job. Although he wasn't the cheapest we decided to go with him due to his keenness. He came by after that we said he got the job, but only brought 3 samples that didn't match our discussed scope and he was unprepared for a meeting in which we would finalise the details. We asked for a contract, but he wanted to wait until detail was decided, but we shouldn't worry.

I'm so happy with the work that Paul Martin's team did and the final result was much better than I anticipated. The team worked really hard even though the 2nd day was exceptionally hot. They were professional, courteous and included me in the decision making. The work was completed to a high standard and was definitely value for money.
