Team of friendly guys completely re-slated roof and repaired and repainted gutters and downpipes over a three week period in December with minimum disruption. A neighbour remarked on how well they had cleaned up afterwards.

We needed our roof repaired having made the fatal mistake in the past of using the wrong company! Gordon Burns have replaced all the slates on our roof. We were impressed with their professionalism, their communication and attention to detail. Nothing seemed too much trouble and they were eager to ensure we were happy at the end of the job. We were particularly impressed with the project management where the materials and scaffolding all turned up just at the right times. Gordon Burns is definitely the right company to use if you need any roof repairs.

I have a Victorian house with original small slates. Required a general repair and inspection, with many slates and ridges requiring replacing. GB Roofing did a great job at a reasonable price.
Always a worry that you can get ripped off when you don’t know the problem in advance, so nice to find an honest company that does an honest job.

Had some damage to roof repaired along with new chimney pot installed. Work all completed neatly and tidily. Appears to be completely wind and watertight, quite stormy weather and no problems that I can see. Price was fair as far as I could tell. Main benefit was probably in dealing with a local firm who have a professional but friendly approach and highly regarded reputation. I'm not expecting any further problems but would be confident this firm would respond if there were any. I've lived in this area for many years and this has always been one of the premier roofing companies in this part of

This team are excellent, top quality workmanship (I checked the roof myself), completed in a timely manner. Everyone who worked on our roof, scaffolders included, was polite, respectful and helpful. At the end of each day the roof was made rain proof, the site was tidied and swept with additional care taken of garden plants and driveway. Gordon and Simon visited daily and the very minor snags which are to be expected were resolved quickly and amicably. No hesitation in recommending this company. The photo shows the difference in the old and new roof halfway through the job.

Great work from the team throughout and everything undertaken as agreed, they even returned to undertake a few other small jobs including re-pointing and fixed the leaking pipe on our garage roof. Simon and Gordon kept us up to speed and were on site pretty much every day and made every effort to keep the area around the house as tidy as possible both throughout and also once the works were complete. We would happily recommend this company.

I had a number of quotes to have the whole house re-slated and it was competitive. I went with them by recommendation of a friend and the fact they are a local company. Work was carried out to a high standard and there were no hidden extras. Site was cleared and tidy when they finished. Very satisfied.
