Timber gates have to be extremely well manufactured to withstand the stresses imposed by automation. We have literally seen gates made by other joiners fall apart after a few months of operation. Our gates are made with automation in mind and have a minimum finished thickness of 65mm. Available in a variety of hard woods, the gate will have 3 coats of stain prior to installation.

My electric gates have been playing up, I called Electric Security Gates to have them a serviced. Ian noticed that the chain had sized, he replaced the problematic chain, gave my motors the once over and made sure everything was well greased, he also noticed that drainage holes were not present and added them to the motor housing. Ian also adjusted the settings as the gates were a little sensitive to the wind when closing, finally he offered some advice on general maintenance, so that I don’t have to call him out again for minor issues. All this work was included in his fixed price service which

Electric Security Gates Yorkshire gave us a very fair quotation for a pair of entrance gates. The installation was completed on time and Ian also kindly helped us with a recommendation for garage shutter doors.
We did have a problem after a couple of years, and after an initial communication error, Ian came very quickly and sorted out the problem for us.
I run a local business myself and therefore like to use similar local contractors. Knowing that help is so near at hand is a big bonus.

Absolutely fantastic work by Ian. Really pleased with the gates.
Found a completely new idea off the internet and showed it to Julie and Ian. they were absolutely brilliant.. and made the gates a reality. The gates are absolutely gorgeous. Me and my husband are in love 😍
Ian is not only superbly professional but also really nice and friendly. He was very patient with us as we were indecisive about a few things. But he gave us plenty of time.
Would absolutely 100% recommend them.

What Ian doesn't know about electric gates isn't worth knowing!
Just had electric gates fitted at our property and both Ian and Julie have been fantastic all the way through the job.
Nothing was too much trouble.
As an Architect, I will definitely be recommending Ian and Electric Security Gates in the future.
