The Electric Gate Shop are a small Yorkshire based company, who specialise in the supply of gate automation equipment. The Electric Gate Shop are independent of any single supplier, and import electric gate kits direct from several leading manufacturers in Italy. 98% of our products are bought direct from the source of manufacture, and are chosen for their reliability and unique features.
All of our fitting instructions are in English. Our wiring diagrams use colour coded wires, clear component pictures and numbered terminals. A step-by-step guide is provided to guide you through the fitting process, and free help is available from an experienced installer. Our technical team can be contacted on 01226 370 549.
With no wearing parts in the motor, and bearings instead of brushes, Roger Brushless lasts longer. The safety inversion is controlled by solid-state MOSFET switches and not relays; this enables millions of operations without the need for make and break contacts (which can often fail). Because the motor is light, this inversion can take place in a few milliseconds.
The Electric Gate Shop we supply a wide range of gate automation motors for underground use. Tip - Almost all underground electric gate motors require adequate drainage or a soak away, although the Sub 180 is a fully sealed unit, also the Sub Motor is oil immersed for long life. There is also the R21/351/SUB which is a submersive sealed unit.
The Roger Technology BE20/210 Brushless single electric gate kit is ideal for a gates leaf up to 2.5m per wing/leaf making this entry level electric gate kit the perfect solution for automating residential driveway gates or single farm gates. Purchased a brushless motor gate automation system, with induction loop after discussions with very friendly and helpful staff. During the install stage very helpful in answering questions. Always responded immediately, and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. System in and fully working. Very quiet, and easy to program/set up.

As a small volume installer Simon offered a deal to get me using the Roger equipment. I must admit it is very good to install, technically, and in terms of features. The support is very good and they are polite and accurate. If you consider yourself a good installer, fit this gear. A well installed Roger set-up will be ultra-reliable and quiet, smooth and strong.

Called in to pick up manual release key.
Whilst there I asked about a new remote fob and all the guys there couldn't have been more helpful !
Nothing was too much trouble.
They took my old fob, programmed up a new one and tested it.
Fantastic service and when I got home the new fob worked perfectly.

Ordering and delivery have always been easy and fast. I had occasion to need to replace the controller card for my gate (my own stupid fault) and needed guidance with some extra wiring and set up conundrums. Joel replied to each of my emails in a helpful and timely fashion. Everything is sorted now and he still seems to have lots of patience left! Thank you Joel! 11/10 recommend!

I’ve been buying from The Electric Gate Shop for about 15 years and I keep going back because the customer service is outstanding. Everyone who works there wants to help. It’s not just the hand holding through the sales and installation, its not just the great products and the good prices - it’s the after care. My gates are now 15 years old and… recently someone tried to forced one open. Although parts for my gate are now defunct, Simon at The Electric Gate Shop looked at photos he asked me to send, he found a compatible part and then he sent it to me via DPD free of charge

Having looked around for some time for an electric gate kit to update our house entrance, we ended up placing an order with The Electric Gate shop for a complete system. The guys at the store we super helpful in explaining to me the relative benefits and drawbacks of different solutions and walked me through what actually makes best sense for… what we were trying to achieve. Order placement and delivery went without issue and the installation instructions and guidance notes provided were clear, precise and obviously well thought through. I had a couple of technical problems during the installation

I ordered 2 replacement electric motors for the electric gate shop, a week later they were delivery to the Republic of Ireland. I was very impressed with the service and I would highly recommend them. Motors fitted and are working perfect. Extremely competive prices. I tried several companies and none of them came close.
