DT Contracting (South West) Ltd carry out road surfacing, street works, groundwork, external works and property refurbishment for an established client base throughout South Wales and the South West. We have a number of term framework contracts working for local authorities, housing associations, main contractors, rail and private developers.
Our directly employed work force operates from the Head Office and Depot which is based in Cwmbran, close to the M4 corridor. Health & Safety, Training and Staff Development are given the utmost importance and we retain the services of both Health & Safety and Training Consultants.
We are Constructionline, Chas, SMAS and RISQS (by Audit) accredited, along with ISO9001:2015 and are currently in the process of working towards ISO14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.Our area of operation extends along the M4 corridor within South and West Wales, the South Wales Valleys, Monmouthshire and Herefordshire.

DT Contracting (South West) Ltd was established in 2013 by Anthony Carter and Michael Wilding. Tony and Mike have between them 60 years' experience within the external works and construction industry working on projects ranging from general groundworks, road surfacing and highway maintenance to prestigious external works projects throughout South Wales and the South West.
Since the launch of SSIP, many Clients and Principal Contractors now adopt an SSIP approach to H&S pre-qualification and will only use contractors who hold a valid and in date Scheme certificate issued by an SSIP Forum member. Holding a valid SSIP Member Scheme certificate means that a contractor will have demonstrated their Stage 1 H&S competence by meeting the SSIP 'core criteria' which is in line with the H&S module in PAS91.
