Tarmacadam consists of tar and crushed stone and naturally is a dark coloured, bituminous material that can be laid on almost any surface with the right preparation. When compressed the stone aggregate is bonded by the tar giving the look and finish of a long lasting and highly durable tarmacadam surface.

Gerry and the team were very professional and friendly. They arrived on time, worked really efficiently as a team and worked to a high standard. It was a two day job and each day they worked in a very tidy and orderly manner, leaving the site spotless. Excellent job and showed a high level of concern for my satisfaction. I have recently had my drive enlarged, tarmacked and enclosed by fencing. The work was done with the utmost professionalism by GD and Sons Quality Paving.
I found them courteous, efficient and something I have found lacking in previous tradespeople, reliable. When they said they would be there, they were and when they promised something would be done it was and I am extremely pleased with the end result. Of course I can only speak from my own experience but based on that I have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending them.

I asked GD & Sons to come and provide a quote to rip out my drive and put a new one in with grey slate. Gerry arrived when he said he would to give me a quote, we accepted and within a week the work had been started. The gentlemen that completed the work was very well mannered and very polite. The drive looks amazing, left clean and tidy as promised. Overall amazing job and will definitely recommend. Thank you.

An excellent job done on my premises forecourt. The quotation was very reasonable and the whole job done quickly and without fuss, starting on the day the said they would start.
This was important because so many trade companies do not stick to schedule. If you are operating a business like me, we need to ensure that work being carried out does not affect how the business is operating meantime.
