Our gates are now open to welcome the trade and public. As we have to limit the number of customers both in the shop and the timber shed, a certain amount of queuing is inevitable at busy times. If you would prefer to phone your order in, and collect without coming into the shop, we have a collection point outside our main door.
With over 75 years combined experience our sales team can offer friendly and helpful advice on most aspects of building and decorating. We are Ripon's largest independent stockist's of paint and decorating materials for the professional or the home painter. Our tinting service offers in excess of 10,000 colours.

We found one guy very helpful in the main store and went out of his way to help us as we’re only novice DIY people. However the reason for the lower rating was how uncomfortable it was going in to order Wood, as both the guys in the wood reception were so rude really as no eye contact, no pleasant greetings or really that helpful at all. Didn’t even want to make chat at all. Just felt like we weren’t welcome at all. Shame because the guys in the main store part seem brilliant

Paid £57 for timber, I asked why it was so much, he told me that timber had gone up a lot recently, I gave the same order to a builder's merchant at cross green Leeds and he gave me a total price of £33, I think this is a big difference and RBM Ltd have taken advantage, can't see them charging these prices to trade people who go there often.
