I ordered ballast, gravel & 2 lengths of 5.1M decking boards. Firstly my wife took delivery & had half emptied the gravel bag when the delivery guy came back and expected her to put it back in the bag because he had delivered the wrong size gravel. Secondly the decking boards were only 3.6M which are no good to me. I have phoned for exchange numerous times & each time they promise to phone back with update. (THEY NEVER PHONE BACK) Still not resolved 4 days later.
What an incompetent company, will never use again

Bought some PSE & ballast (two separate visits) & later compared with their published prices on their website.
Found I had been overcharged by over 60%
Complained to MD, but NO apology or refund.
It seems that BMCo are happy with this, so that's OK

Gave my delivery slot away without letting me know drove all the way there to pay to be told it can't be delivered until the week after waste of my dinner break doing a 20 mile round trip for nothing very frustrated won't be using again!!!!

STAY AWAY. Come to scunthorpe store spent £270. All prices online are cheaper. Even though you order and collect.
We were wanting £1600 worth of timber that we now bought with someone else, because we were told the prices by the man on reception. Said sorry mate we can get it cheaper. He said nothing. If we had known the online prices we would have bought the timber.
My advice STAY AWAY the cheek of a company thinking people will not check website prices. You clearly do not value peoples custom and beleive you can take people for a ride.

Failed to take responsibility for damage caused by delivery. Not one offer of compensation or even an apology. Now seeking legal advice.

Quality company, even under pressure with the COVID-19 issues they delivered where most couldn’t. No daft price hikes either.
Driver navigated up our long drive to get our products where we needed them, and saved us spending the day moving items elsewhere.

Always good service and good quality products at reasonable prices. Recently bought a bulk bag of plastering sand - absolutely the best I have used for a long time!

STAY AWAY RIP OFF
I purchased a pallet of cement 3 months ago & was given a good price so went back yesterday to purchased some more & asked could I please have their best price as I was collecting, they said it would be a different manfacture due to availability had gone up approx. £120 for a full pallet. For a family friend to tell me today BMC SCUNTHORPE were advertising the same product CHEAPER on line than they even charged me 3 months ago & if I bought a pallet full they would also deliver for FREE

Excellent service from start to finish. Great on the phone when ordering, delivered in a really quick time, driver was very helpful and rang on his way.
