Domestic Appliance Centre
With over 50 years combined experience our technical team can offer you a friendly, efficient service - including service and repairs of a wide range of appliances - from vacuum cleaners to dishwashers and fridge freezers. We don't believe in hidden costs so we will quote you 'up front' for the call out and labour charges and advise you of the cost of replacement parts when the fault has been identified.

Come and check out our reconditioned appliances. Our stock changes very quickly so why not give us a call to see if we have what you need in stock. In a normal domestic environment we give 12 months parts and labour guarantee (T's and C's apply). In the shop we are surrounded by spare parts. Oven elements, dishwasher pumps, vacuum cleaner bags, literally 1000's of parts in stock.

With years of experience of part identification we'll help you get the right part for the repair. We work closely with Landlords, Letting agents and other property professionals to ensure their electrical and white goods are fully operational at all times.
Services
As we have strong partnerships with national and International Manufacturers, we can usually get you the required part. Our engineers have a wealth of experience and are experts at identifying and locating parts. Almost all machines will have a sticker or plate on them with all the manufacturers' model identification numbers.

Called out to our tumbledryer, was working but making the most horrendous noise as the drum turned. Engineer took it away and had it back in full working order within 2 working days, replaced the fan. Cant fault them, polite and professional, would recommend definitely.

Critical: Professionalism
DO NOT USE Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Paid £35 for strip down and then collected today with a further £52 parts and labour. Get home, plug it in and obviously no work been done on it. The door is still not opening and the turntable going. Feel like a mug for trusting them and not testing it in the shop.

Terrible service. They had been out in the summer, tipped my washing machine to release the anti flooding mechanism, did not look into the route cause. Charged me £100 call out. When asked to return in November to the exact same problem they would only do this if I paid another £100 call out charge. Very disappointing especially as I like to support local companies.

Having had an excellent service for 5 years without complaint, things have deteriorated since a rude man has taken to be the phone contact. Today he phoned to tell us they would no longer be serving our area. Yesterday they were going to pick up the machine and repair it today not even an apology. It would surely be courteous to complete what was agreed and suggest an alternative , which I suggested but he just hung up. What a shame a great company chooses to have someone like this as their contact, no customer service skills.
The repair people have never been like this always professional and

It's reasonable that repair services charge part of their fee for any diagnostic work completed even if an appliance proves not repairable. But what constitutes "not repairable"? According to Domestic Appliance Services it means they can't get the spare part easily through their own supplier - they then charge you the full £108 labour cost - no refund!
We'd asked them to look at an Electrolux induction hob. After charging us up front they took the hob away and only then told us that its power card had failed and was "no longer available" - effectively the hob was obsolete.
I was surprised -

How's this for service. Cooker malfunctions at 17.30 with family due the next day. Rang DAC to see if they could work a miracle by rectifying the problem before the family arrived. Low and behold David was round at 8.15am the next day and had the job done before 9.00am to our relief. A wonderful service carried out with efficiency and in a very friendly manner. Recommend them without any hesitation whatsoever.
A big thank you

Dave charged £69 to come out and diagnose the fault on our Beko washer dryer. He said the fascia board needed replacing and quoted £85 to repair the fault. He came back and replaced the board but unfortunately the machine still wouldn’t work. He came back again and replaced the display unit at a further cost of £96. The machine would now turn on but wouldn’t wash. Dave returned a fourth time and discovered a 50p piece lodged in the machine. He removed the coin and the machine is now working perfectly. Dave didn’t charge for his fourth visit. The total cost of the repair was £249.86 (though

Excellent service! Fast response from a polite, knowledgeable and very efficient technician who found the source of the problem fast. Our Miele fridge/freezer was quickly repaired and at much less cost than Miele quoted- they couldn't send anyone for a week! David was excellent and we'll use them again without hesitation.

Requested a call out for a stuck washing machine door. The Company insisted on money upfront - CALL OUT charge alone over £100 and had to wait 3 days.
The engineer when he turned up did get the door open - since then I’ve seen clips on YouTube, a simple task to get the door open - so now I’m prepared this won’t happen to me again.
Anyway the engineer phoned me, said it was a “motherboard failure” - those were the precise words used. Not repairable and would need a new washing machine - they could supply one for £550 (don’t remember the exact cost quoted, but immediately recognised
