Services
For home buyers, a full survey and test could save you the inconvenience and extra cost of emergency repair work after you have purchased the property. For home owners, as well as peace of mind, a drain survey can uncover the causes of persistent blocked drains such as collapsed pipes which restrict the flow or waste water.
Blocked drains can cause you an enormous amount of stress. We at Drain Wizard understand completely, which is why we employ the latest technologies such as high pressure jets and root cutters to get you back to normal in next to no time. Blocked drain clearance is carried out with the aid of a CCTV drain camera to provide visual confirmation of a clean drain.
When underground drainage pipes crack or collapse, a number of reasons such as tree roots (see photos below) and ground movement could be to blame. Our team will carry out a CCTV survey of the drains to determine the exact cause. Depending on the nature and extent of the damage, they can carry out an in-situ repair/relining, saving you money and time.
Pitch Fibre pipes were mainly used in the 1960's - 70's and is made from wood cellulose fibre impregnated with carefully refined inert coal tar pitch. It was a revolution in its time due to the long lengths making it a lot easier to install rather than the traditional clay pipes and also being a lot cheaper.
Drain patch repairs are required usually when a pipe suffers a minor breach. This is most often caused by questing roots. After clearing out the roots from the drain, using a specialist cutter, we can repair the damage to the pipe without digging up the pipe. We can carry out drain spot patch repairs by feeding a small section of specially designed liner into the pipe on a special machine.

Bad problem broken victorian drain under kitchen flooring which had to come up, to reveal several litres of stagnant waste water and the cause of the mysterious foul smells! Fixed without fuss by Chris of Drain Wizard; whole system checked over for possible future problems before floor replaced for our peace of mind! Excellent job all round and all within a day with site left immaculate. Highly recommended.

Excellent and prompt communications; very responsive. The work was done to schedule and, on completion of a sewage plant installation, a mucky job hampered by considerable rain, the Drain Wizard team left the garden looking like nothing had been done. VAT bumped the price up to more than we'd have liked, but it was worth it to get the job completed within a specified timeframe and to a guaranteed standard.
