Services
In this service we first seal the fireplace opening, and then clean your chimney using a brush and rods, and an industrial hepa filtered vacuum collects the soot and debris. Once the chimney has been swept, we place a smoke pellet in the opening to assess the draw of the chimney. We will then issue you with a NACs / Hetas certificate.
Our experienced team of specialists can also re-point and repair chimney stacks. If your chimney mortar is showing signs of deterioration of any type, or if cracks are developing, it may need repairing or re-pointing. We can also repair a leaning stack, address any bulges in masonry, blown rendering, or pebbledash, all of which indicate the presence of a more serious problem, and must be addressed before they lead to water damage or dampness.
At Drapers we sell and fit a range of chimney pots, cowls and bird guards. If you do not currently have a chimney pot, or the one you have is damaged or old, a new one may be required. We can provide these in a range of sizes, and wherever possible we will access the chimneystack using roof ladders, minimising the need for costly access equipment and/or scaffolding.

I have not used trustatrader personally but I know quite a few who have recommended them to me. And they would be my first port of call for anything I needed doing. It's good to be able to get first hand knowledge of the people you need. And I know I would not be disappointed. Registred my interest as a tradesperson then get absolutely bombarded by emails, messages and phone calls. Stated several times I would be in touch when I was ready but still received more calls from different people. Really put me off and I won't be signing up. Would be better if your salespeople were more personable and listened more.
