We are a family run business with over ten years experience in the building industry. We specialise in building Loft Conversions, but also provide other building works in domestic properties. For example we often install new kitchens and bathrooms, whilst completing a Loft Conversion in the property.
If carried out by a professional company like ourselves the cost of your loft conversion should (at the very least) be added to the value of your property. We specialise in Box Dormer, L-Shaped and Hip to Gable Conversions. We can also provide Architects and Structural Engineers to assist your build, taking you from early design to completion.
This depends on the type of house you have. Standard 1930's, 3 bedroom homes, will normally achieve 1 bedroom and shower room. Victorian houses with an 'outrigger' part of the house will usually achieve two bedrooms and a shower room. SLK completed a loft conversion, creating a master bedroom and separate bathroom a year ago. They also remodelled the ground floor. We're delighted with the outcome - the high quality finish is obvious and it's everything we hoped for. The process of getting that outcome was also outstanding. The work was finished within the scheduled time, on budget and the plasterers, joiners, electricians, plumbers and builders who all at different times worked on the job had the same ethos of doing the best possible job and creating the least inconvenience.
