We often experience very high call volumes, so the bst way to get in touch is to send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as possible. If out of hours, you can still email us with your enquiry and we will get back to you as soon as possible when we are back in the office. For interests of health and safety within our busy yard and workshop, our showroom is available by appointment only - please get in touch if you want to visit us.
Treating your gates is a key way to help to preserve them. It helps to keep out water and harmful UV rays which can cause warping, splitting of the timber and discolouration. Treating your gates also adds a complementary finishing touch to the timber. Different types of wood require different treatments to preserve them.
We can craft our gates from both Hardwood and Softwood. We strongly believe in preserving our wonderful planet so all our timber is sustainably sourced. We strongly recommend that you treat your gates regularly to help preserve the timber and help prevent cracking and movement. The Softwood we use is Swedish Redwood.

We have used Turner gates for two jobs around our house - not only gates but bespoke fencing (and also boring fencing). Steve has been great at discussing our needs and ensuring we have precisely what we wanted. The work was done very well - quick, tidy and very friendly (and well priced). I was recommended them by our neighbors and would definitely recommend them to anyone else.

We recently replaced our driveway gates and after "trawling" the internet for gate suppliers, came across Turners Gates near Kidderminster. We liked the look of the quality and had a good feeling about this company as it is a small family run business. We discussed our requirements and then everything was supplied, first the posts, to allow them to set properly and then the gates. The installation was so professional with attention to detail and they will discuss any issues or requirements before and during this time.

Highly recommended. I had driveway gates made to measure and fitted. Local, family run business which offers a friendly service. The quality of the gates is fantastic - wooden gates made to order by the company. Ironmongery also excellent quality and adds to a professional look. No hassle, no issues, happy customer :-)

From the moment I contacted Sue at Turners Gates to the day they were installed I have been hugely impressed with their polite efficiency, craftsmanship and dedication to ensuring a top quality job. Steve the fitter worked tirelessly to fit the gates in atrocious weather conditions and everything fitted perfectly. Scandinavian Redwood suited my budget and how smart these gates look. They were very reasonably priced and of clear quality. Can’t recommend this company enough.
